I purchased this distributor about 20 years ago from the one owner, Gary g, of a nationally recognized red 1967 Chevelle SS that currently is setup with an l88. He told me opted for an aftermarket ignition system 2-3 years after purchased the car. It has the oil passage block off that is required for BB engines.
The original part number for distributor is but tag missing. This still has the original vacuum advance control. The pole piece magnet shows no cracks. The light wear on drive gear and bushings that are as new verifies this.
